Packaging Design & Implementation

While working as a packaging designer at Marks and Spencer, I worked on a range of projects that involved developing visually compelling packaging designs for various products. One such project was the Zara Valley range of Lebanese food products, for which I created a unique repeating wheat pattern inspired by traditional Lebanese tiles. This pattern was incorporated into the product labels and packaging to create a cohesive visual identity for the brand. I also worked closely with the Zara Valley team to ensure that the final product met their requirements for quality and functionality.

For the premium 'Black Label' brand, I developed a visual identity that included a sophisticated color scheme consisting of premium gold foil and matte black. I also created custom typography for the logo to reflect the brand's exclusive nature. Throughout the design process, I worked closely with the client to ensure that the final design aligned with their vision and brand values.

As part of a personal project, I designed a Red Dragon IPA beer label that showcased my branding and packaging design skills. The label included a combination of traditional and contemporary typography and a hand-drawn illustration of a dragon. The color scheme was carefully chosen to subtly reflect the flag of Wales, adding an extra layer of meaning to the design.

Another project I worked on was the development of a visual identity for a new rum from Barbados. The design featured a carefully chosen color scheme and typography that captured the essence of the Caribbean Islands, where the rum is produced. The illustration of the national flower, 'The Pride of Barbados,' was incorporated into the design to add a touch of local flavor and culture. Throughout the design process, I worked closely with the client to ensure that the final product aligned with their vision and brand values.

In all of these projects, my goal was to create visually compelling designs that effectively communicated the brand's message and values while standing out on the shelves. Through careful attention to detail and collaboration with clients, I was able to deliver designs that successfully met the project goals and exceeded client expectations.
